[ Oblivious to the commotion taking place, Martel was seated snugly in an armchair, reading a book. The book was later gently rested on her lap as she made a content glance out the window. Yes, she was in utter peace . . .

At least she was until she saw two blurred figures, one wearing a black jacket and another chasing after him with a door while roaring at the top of his lungs. It took awhile for her to process what she saw, but it didn't take long for her to decide to stop them.

Setting the book onto the table, she rushed out of the door and chased after the two men. ]

Wait! Whatever it is that you're two are arguing about, I'm sure we can talk this through! There's no need to resort to violence!

[ Not one to risk anything, she steps right in front of the black-haired man in case the blond was planning on throwing the door. She's not sure what was going but she can at least tell who had the advantage and disadvantage.

Of course that doesn't mean she's jumping to conclusions. She's a fair person and willing to hear things out, anything to avoid physical conflict. ]

[ unfortunately for martel, the door was already on it's way out of his hands. it's only after he's already chucked it that he realizes there is a woman in the way and despite a desperate grab, it's too far gone. ]

[Zack told him to stay away from Shizuo for the time being, that trying to apologize when the other man was in this sort of a mood would only lead to him getting hurt. Logically, he knows this, but he's had bad experiences with leaving apologies till later, and he doesn't want to spend what little is left of his birthday feeling bad for something he did.

So, after he's done with his drinks and has sobered up a bit, he'll be heading out in search of Shizuo. If he's still rampaging, he shouldn't be that hard to find...]
