Well, he's there to get his dogs and maybe serve some of the people who might want to stay for a "last time", but... people are talking about evacuations, their powers are going weird.
Not to mention the fact that the weird masks are still going around.
But after thinking about how unsafe it is to stay in a place that could be collapsing, he has an idea. the journal is hauled over. ]

Why don't we just get on top of it? The moon, I mean. If it really is coming down. [ he rifles a hand through his hair. ] Aah. We'd be safer from all of these shitty effects if we were up there too.
