Does anyone have any hair dye? [ a certain someone's roots are showing like crazy. ] I think I could use a haircut too. [ somewhere off screen and further back, JD the dog gives a wheezy bark. Shizuo turns away for a second. ] You probably could too, huh?

Anyway. The name's Heiwajima Shizuo. If you've got any let me know.

[ and throughout the day, the fortissimo of ikebukuro can be seen running a few quick errands. laundry, grocery shopping, even the occasional pause at the fountain to shoot it a dirty look.

that evening, he can be found in the bar with his sad, sorry looking mutt trotting at his heels. don't be surprised if the animal sits at your table and watches you in hopes that you've got some scraps to give him. ]

[The Beauty Salon isn't ready to officially go, yet. But she can take care of one person if they are in need of it.]

[ Aerith blinks when she looks around, looking to see if she can catch one of the bartenders...and instead finding that there's a dog watching her. Kind of cute, if just for how earnest he looks about it. After a moment, she says: ]

[ She gestures for the dog to come closer so she can pet him, while keeping her eye out for its possible owner. ]

[ Firo's pleased to have finally located a bar in Luceti. He takes a seat at one of the tables and just soaks in the atmosphere. It's only a few minutes later that he notices that he has company. ]

What's a dog doin' here..?

[ Glancing around the room, he tries to see if maybe the dog slipped off his leash. ]

Ah-ah. Heiwajima-san, I've got some.

Hair....hair dye?

[NOT EVEN TOUCHING THE SUBJECT OF CUTTING, YET.]

[There's the sound of a muffled coughing fit over the journal before he answers, though his voice is cheerful enough when he speaks.]

While I can't claim to have any knowledge of hair dye, I could certainly try my hand at the latter.

[LET HIM PLAY WITH YOUR HAIR OH PLEASE OH PLEASE HE WILL MAKE IT PRETTY. Except for the part where you might not like his idea of "pretty," but that's a minor detail.]

[ JD isn't about to refuse any affection, since Shizuo's too busy cleaning and doing general bartendy things. so he trots closer and wags his dusty tail.

eventually. shizuo notices his shadow is missing. ]

[ You're lucky this time. Shizuo's caught on to what his dog's been doing. Right about when the sad little mutt puts his paws on the side of the seat and starts wagging his tail. ]

Cut that out.

Ah, that's right. I guess I should have just asked you first.

Yeah. Something wrong with that?

[ ... ]

I think I'll just cut it myself.

[ While he's not much of an animal person, Firo can't help but smile at the little dog. He regrets not ordering anything yet and he holds his empty hands out to the dog to show he has nothing to share.

When he hears Shizuo speak, he looks up, smiling. ]

Is he yours?

Yeah, do you have one in particular? You know, it's not the same thing a flame red hair color than a henna red hair color. If you want the dye to be the same as the one you always use I'll need to know the tone.

[ he looks fairly unsurprised once he realizes where the silly animal has gone. sighing, he sets his things back on the table and starts walking over. ]

Sorry. He's been doing that all day.

That's very impressive. But how do you manage to cut the back properly without any help?

[Genuine curiosity here, because he's pretty sure it'd be a disaster if he tried cutting his own hair.]

[ She stands up, brushing off the skirt of her dress as she turns to Shizuo. ] All day? He's not really hungry, is he?

He's just trying to eat people food.

Ahhh, what a sneaky boy! But, Baldr is like that too.

It's not exactly even, but it's better than getting too long.
